Here’s me playing dress-up, all awkward because fashion blogging is way out of my comfort zone. You have to pose! You have to twirl! You have to look natural when there’s nothing natural about wearing a bright floral dress in the middle of the day for no reason! I’m still trying to figure out what my best angle is, and if I even have one. It’s good to shake things up from time to time though.
I bought this dress on sale, and I haven’t really had a chance to really wear it. I know it’s still quite cold in Toronto, but this outfit is very ‘Oh, just casually dressing for Spring in New York City’. In fact, it was 100% inspired by the Sex & the City ladies, with the kind of big sunnies Charlotte would wear (oh hai, Prada knockoffs) and the Carrie-esque bright floral pattern. And the bag. Oh, the bag! I’m planning a post all about it, but in case you can’t wait (it’s exciting, I know!), it’s the Kate Spade Highland Place Mini Maria, the newest addition to my summer wardrobe.
Ps. Here’s a pro #fblogger tip for you…Always accessorize with coffee, it makes everything better.
j/k I have no idea what I’m doing.
