If You Like Piña Coladas…You Have To Try The Body Shop Piñita Colada Body Butter

Pinita Colada Body Shop Body Butter Review

I like to torture myself by researching incredibly expensive trips to all-inclusive resorts in the Maldives. I can spend hours comparing seemingly similar luxury resorts to find out which one has the best food, the best beaches, and most importantly, the best water bungalows. One of my #lifegoals is staying in my very own water bungalow. It will have a glass-paneled floor and direct access to the sea and it will be glorious. For now, I’m stuck in the city and I have to make do with the next best thing – the Body Shop Piñita Colada body butter*, or as I like to call it, the one

Let’s be real for a minute…covering yourself in moisturiser from head to toe every day? Ain’t nobody got time for that. I rarely bother with body moisturiser. I have a ton of amazing body lotions and body butters gathering dust in a storage closet somewhere. It takes a really, really special product to make me want to moisturize, not out of fear that my skin shrivel up like an old raisin or out of discomfort, but because I just want to.

The scent is heavenly. I’ve actually been carrying the Piñita Colada body butter in my handbag. That’s how much I love it. Dare I say it? Piñita Colada is the best Body Shop range yet and it’s absolutely perfect for the sunny season. The coconut and pineapple scent will transport you to a tropical island. It’s not quite as good as watching a beautiful sunset from a sandy beach in the Maldives, but it’s as close as you’re going to get to that perfect holiday if your budget doesn’t stretch beyond $21.

The body butter is thick, rich, and just a touch greasy. It’s a very effective moisturiser, but the draw for me is the tropical scent that lingers for a couple of hours after application. The Piñita Colada range doesn’t play well with other fragrances, but you won’t need (or want) to wear your signature scent with this body butter.

TL;DR?

This is the one. By which I mean, the only moisturiser that I’ve ever used consistently. It smells glorious, like a slice of paradise. If you like pineapple and coconut (and even if you don’t, probably), this one’s a winner.
