I like to shake up my bedtime skincare routine with different serums and oils every few weeks, so I was super excited to try the Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil Face*. I knew I would love it, because Palmer’s and I go way back. I used their Cocoa Butter Formula as hand cream during my shifts when I worked stocking shelves at Superdrug (shh!), and the body lotion remains one of my favourite skincare product to this day.
This oil is a real multitasker – it claims to be anti-aging, moisturizing and brightening. It’s also packed with ten essential oils, pure cocoa butter, vitamin E and retinol, so you should always, always wear sunscreen when using this oil.
I’ve been the Skin Therapy Oil Face for a while now, and I’m in love! The application is beautiful. The rosehip scent is very subtle, and the product is lightweight and absorbs quickly without leaving your skin greasy. I use 3-5 drops nightly before applying my moisturizer, and I’ve seen a real difference. My skin tone is more even, my skin is plump and bright…but I haven’t found this to be particularly moisturizing. I would recommend using this with your best nighttime moisturizer to keep your skin properly hydrated.
The Skin Therapy Oil Face has replaced my beloved Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate, at a much lower cost. Palmer’s products were really hard to find in Canada until recently, but they’re now sold at Walmart – no more trying to fit ‘just one more’ bottle of Cocoa Butter Formula in a suitcase full of Primark shoes everytime I go back to the UK!
Giveaway time! The folks at Palmer’s were kind enough to provide an extra Palmer’s Winter Skin Package for one of my lovely reader…
